Kaymar have released a tailored solution to deliver reliable reversing sensors in steel rear bars for the Mzda BT50.
Early installs of rear bars with the factory installed sensors proved to be unreliable as the sensors are specifically designed for installation and operation only with the original bumper and without wheel carriers fitted.
Now Kaymar has sourced and tested a sensor kit upgrade which operates reliably in replacement rear bars that are constructed with steel and have spare wheel carriers mounted.

Newly designed bars for the RBT50 are sensor ready and can be fitted to all RBT50 models providing a reversing sensor instal option for all.
The sensors fit seamlessly into the knockout mounting positions suitably located across the bar and the controller is easily mounted within the vehicle along with a buzzer which sounds a distance related alert upon sensing an obstruction behind the vehicle.
As the vehicle moves nearer the obstacle the tempo of the buzzer increases.
The Kaymar reversing sensor solution completely replaces any previously installed sensor system and may be installed as an upgrade into vehicles which have not had reversing sensors before.

Tested and approved in Kaymar’s Lilydale plant in Victoria, to meet our exacting specifications for a perfect fit to the vehicle. Construction of the rear bar and carrier option remain unchanged and feature all the quality and benefits expected of the Kaymar range.

The Kaymar sensor kit includes:

• 4 sensors
• Controller unit
• Buzzer
• On/Off switch
• Cabling sufficient to instal with controller and buzzer in the vehicle.
  

The On/Off switch provides the opportunity to disable the sensor system for situations such as when towing a trailer.
Customised variations to the controller/buzzer installation position may be possible by negotiation with the installer and may incur additional expense.
