NEW: GEN2 Rear Bar for 300 Series
The Kaymar GEN2 Rear Bar for the Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series is a redesigned, single-piece steel bar built from installer and customer feedback. It’s been updated to fit better and suit all LC300 variants, including MY25. The design keeps a clean, purposeful look while delivering the rear protection and carriers long range travelling demands.
Before release, the GEN2 setup was put to work on the Gibb River Road during the Cruisemaster R.A.T Run. That kind of corrugation and constant movement is exactly where poor fitment and weak details show up fast.
The GEN2 update focuses on practical improvements that matter day-to-day, especially when vehicles are off-road. It’s confidence built from real track time, not just workshop theory. If it can handle the Gibb River Road, it’s well placed for long-distance touring and regular off-road punishment.
Updated design language and finish
GEN2 brings a refreshed look, most noticeable through the centre section on the rear face and a subtle crease through the wings. It’s a modern update that still looks at home on the LC300. Both the rear bar and carriers now come in a matte black powder coat finish for a consistent, durable appearance. Importantly, the design changes aren’t just visual; they support a cleaner overall fit and a more resolved final install. The end result is a bar that looks intentional from every angle and stays that way after plenty of kilometres.
Key inclusions built in
The GEN2 Rear Bar includes a forged TBM and tow ball, taking the guesswork out of core towing hardware. Universal mud flaps are also included, making it easier to deliver a complete fitment from day one. The bar integrates essential mounting points while keeping the rear profile neat and functional. Reverse camera provisions are included, helping retain everyday usability after fitment.

Ordering is straightforward: you can either purchase the rear bar on it's own or add carriers to suit your specific setup. This staged approach is ideal for customers who want to set the rear bar now, then add a wheel carrier or jerry can holder when the rest of the build is ready.
