Rear Bar

A tough steel replacement for the original plastic bumper as fitted by the Land Rover factory. Adding greater strength to the vehicle’s rear end, this bar is designed to closely replicate the lines of the original bumper while enabling the accommodation of twin spare wheel carriers or a combination of single wheel carrier on one side and single jerry can holder on the other. The carriers can be mounted or dismounted quite easily, taking about five minutes each. The bar is manufactured using high grade, heavy gauge steel plate, laser cut for accuracy and robotically welded for the highest quality joins. Fitted with LED signal lights (stop, indicator, park and reversing lights) which are fully sealed against dust and moisture, highly resistant to vibration damage and have a long service life in tough conditions. As is usual from Kaymar, careful attention to design is evident. Shaped to utilize the Discovery’s in-built features; integral chassis towbar, original trailer plug and recovery point, the bar fully compliments and enhances the vehicle. And a bonus - Land Rover’s original reversing sensors can be refitted into the Kaymar bar. As you’d expect there is a range of optional attachments available including spare wheel carriers, jerry can carriers, a hilift jack holder, H/F aerial mount and telescopic work light.
