Replacement Bar/Towbars
- The Kaymar tow hitch must be used
- Kaymar does not recommend the use of a weight distribution hitch
- Jacking must only be done off the jacking points in the bar/towbar
- Load capacity must be adhered to (check you particular vehicles
rating)
- Ball load must be adhered to (check your particular vehicles
rating)
- All bolts must be checked on a regular basis
- People living in salt water environments should consider
galvanizing to protect bar/towbar from rust – rust due to salt is
not covered under warranty
- Tow hitch heights are as close to standard as possible
- No claim under warranty for faulty or bad fitting or wiring
- Kaymar replacement bar/towbar are tested and rated towbars,
therefore, can not be altered in any way
Carrier and Jerry Can holders
- Top bearings must be greased when installed
- Dust cap on top of bearings must be full of grease
- Remove, clean and re-grease bearings every 12 months
- Vehicle must not be driven with carrier or jerry can holder open
- Vehicle must not be driven with carrier or jerry can holder locked
in open position
- Lock open pin must be released before closing carrier or jerry can
holder
- Tyre must be positioned firmly against carrier frame
- For carriers with centre wheel number plate bracket, make sure
number plate sits against the tyres bottom edge
- All bolts must be checked on a regular basis
- All carriers will take up to and including 33” wheels
- People living in salt water environments should consider
galvanizing to protect carriers from rust – rust due to salt is not
covered under warranty
- No claim under warranty for faulty or bad fitting
Telescopic Light
- Vehicle should not be driven with telescopic light in ‘up’
position
Jack Holders and H/F Aerial Brackets
- Jack holder or H/F Aerial bracket should be removed when not in
use
- Ensure jack base section is fitted firmly against tyre
